This cross stitch pattern by Japanese designer has charts for three adorable Russian nesting dolls that can be finished as a set of needlework accessories. Instructions are included for turning them into a pin cushion, scissor case, and tape measure.
The dolls all use the same basic pattern, but are stitched on different count fabrics to create different sized dolls. You can do the same, or stitch them all on the same fabric to make them the same size. (For more info, see .)

- Stitching area: 31 stitches wide x 43 stitches high (each doll)

- Fabric: Models were stitched on 36-count, 32-count, and 25-count white linen
Finished sizes:
- 0.9" x 1.2" on 36-count linen or 18-count Aida
- 1.0" x 1.3" on 32-count linen or 16-count Aida
- 1.2" x 1.7" on 25-count linen or 12-count Aida
(Note: The large aqua doll in the photos is made from felt. Instructions to make it are not included as part of the cross stitch pattern.)
