The items in the pack are nice.I'm a Simmer. I have been since Sims 1. I pretty much buy every EP and stuff package that comes out! My daughter enjoys the Sims 3 game too, but I don't buy two of the same thing, so we could't play at the same time at first. When World Adventures EP came out, I installed the base game on her machine. She liked it but wanted her Sims to be able to travel too. I thought she'd have to wait for the next EP, Ambitions, to release. But when I bought this stuff pack, I was happy to discover that I can start my game with this CD! In the past Sims games, only the EP discs do that, but now that I no longer need the World Adventures disc to play my Sims game, I can put that expansion in her game and she can use that disc to play any time! That is reason enough to buy this pack, but the stuff that is added to the game is cool, especially the electric guitar and the aquarium. I like making ultra modern houses often, so this stuff is essential for building and furnishing that style of home. There are some new clothing items too. A good addition if you love Sims 3.I've only had this stuff pack for a few days but so glad I got it. I followed all the rules (as always) after researching on the official Sims3 website forums - removing all non-EA Games mods, hacks, and CC (custom content) prior to installing - updated my Launcher as recommended - installed official EA patch for the game from Sims3 website. I then tested the game without mods and hacks, perfect play, so I exited the game and added my CC, mods and hacks back into game, restarted and experienced perfect play. I have had no problems that many people have reported. You must have a strong supported graphics card (mine is the NVidea 9800GTX+) and a higher end desktop PC in order for the expansion packs and stuff packs to play as smoothly as Sims3 should play. I tried playing Sims3 on my Mac notebook when I first got it and it's not powerful enough to play effectively, can't see the entire neighborhood on the Mac notebook, the neighbors houses just fade to fog, so I wouldn't recommend adding EP's or SP's to notebooks or laptops.I’m giving this review a five out of five stars because it came sealed and also came with the new code. The last time I ordered the same exact game from another company they sent me a printed out copy of the code, which didn’t work, and I had to ship it back. So hopefully this one works, which I believe it will, and I will get to enjoy this extra content for the Sims. It came sealed in plastic like you would typically get at Walmart or another store and looks good.it's just like any other sims game. I ordered this from here because my girlfriend lost hers. Ordered it from the seller TNS deals and they sent me the euro version (completely different name too, something like high tech stuff). Euro version will not work with the US version. I know this because I ordered another expansion which turned out to be the euro version and it didn't work unless I hacked the registry. So if you want to hack your registry go for it. otherwise don't order it from TNSdeals. When I talked to them about it, I got a response of "it will work" nothing about saying they'd refund me my money if it didn't, nadda. returned it to Amazon and they were cool with it.I upgraded to Sims 3 not too long ago, and I wasn't too happy with the base game, but with the addition of this stuff pack, things are definitely looking up. It allows for more options; my sims don't have to live surrounded by weird-looking furniture. This is not an expansion pack - it doesn't allow Sims to do more or anything, but if you're looking for variety in the game, it's a great bet. I also really liked the option to download the game. It saves space and I can re-download with no problem through Amazon.I bought this when it went on sale for $10. It was my first time buying a download and I had no problems.You get a good amount of items for your home and some nice clothing and hairstyles too. Compared to buying each item individually from the Sims 3 Store, it was a steal when on sale.As much as I do like the cool, modern look of the content, I would not have paid more than $10 for this. But at that price it was just right.This is my favorite stuff pack I've purchased so far (I have Outdoor Living Stuff and Fast Lane Stuff as well), and I really like the items in it. Most of the furniture is sleek and high-end looking. It's perfect for a modern home or apartment. The corner bathtub is also nice; it's very useful for large bathrooms. I really love the sleek modern look, and the pixel items are good quality.
