Linen has a beautiful drape and open weave that is perfect for cross stitch and embroidery. Evoking fields of lavender, this French Country linen is a dusty purple similar to DMC embroidery floss color #3042.
The fabric is 28 count. Linen is commonly stitched over 2 threads, which would give you 14 stitches per inch, the equivalent of 14-count Aida. You can also stitch over 1 thread for 28 stitches per inch.
